
About ABPI
The Association of Bhutanese in Perth, Inc. (ABPI) was established to support the growing Bhutanese community in Perth, Australia. Perth has become a key destination for Bhutanese individuals seeking higher education and job opportunities, attracting hundreds of new students and professionals every year.
ABPI’s primary mission is to foster a sense of belonging among Bhutanese in Perth, ensuring that they feel welcomed, included, and supported. The association helps newcomers settle into their new environment and organises events that promote social interaction, cultural integration, and community bonding. Through these efforts, ABPI aims to build a strong, happy Bhutanese community that harmonises with other cultures.

Every Bhutanese in WA feels at home, included, taken care of, and part of the Bhutanese family both here in Perth and in Bhutan.
Mission
ABPI shall work towards achieving its vision by providing a platform for all the Bhutanese in Perth to:
- Cement the bond within the community,
- Preserve and promote Bhutanese identity, culture, and values,
- Provide access to and information about current and future opportunities,
- Address community concerns,
- Foster relationships with the community both in Perth and back in Bhutan,
- Protect, promote, and develop the interests and welfare of the community.
